Hi,

i cant use our Nova2009 Project with the iz3d stereo driver anymore. So i contacted the iz3d support and get a contact to a developer.

He ask me this:

"Are you sure that vertice.novaexplorerlight.exe calls DirectX functions? "

This is the iz3d thread

Hi !
You've told two interresting things :
- "anymore" : this means that the device you're using worked at least once. Interresting. We did not add or remove code for N2009 for about 1 year and a half (and only for bug correction purpose). Did your device worked correctly during this period?
-"exe". Ok. Does your device work well with a regular .mxb file?

Yes, NOVA Explorer calls DirectX functions. It is basically the only way to assign a device. But, you need to save a configuration file (which is in fat an simple .xml file) and to use it as the configuration for your exe, during the publishing process. Did you know that?

Hope that helped !

hi,

thx for the fast answer.

Yes our executable worked in march 2009 with a nova executable but not anymore.

The iz3d driver doesn't work with the .mxb. Only the nvidia 3d stereo work. But the nvidia driver didn't have the posibility to switch the left and right output. That's our major problem 'cause we have to capture the output on the left.

I have to save a configuration xml file ? I didn't know anything about it. Are there more settings possible then in the nova explorer publish windows ? Are there any help files about this xml file ?

I presume that you should try to configure your device as a joystick. Then you go to the NOVA menu and save the configuration with a specific name (iz3d, for instance). And when you publish your exe, simply call back this configuration file in the configuration list.
Let me know if that worked...
